The nature of the medium is humbling, it’s messy and unaesthetic. But the end product is rewarding. The process of ceramics reflects on my life journey, I use my heritage and culture to express my journey in better ways than words. Working with clay is a way that I feel the most at home. I find ceramic art to be perfectly imperfect, where all the decisions I made can be seen in the art.
